When you create a LendLens account, we collect your email address and the date and time you gave consent to receive our newsletter and reminders. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal identifiers unless you provide them voluntarily in correspondence.
We collect anonymised records of when an analysis was run — including the date, the number of cards analysed, and whether a payment was made. We do not store the content of any analysis.
If you pay for the additional card analysis (£2.99), payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or any payment credentials. We receive only a confirmation that payment was successful.
This is the most important section of this policy.
When you upload a credit card statement, it is transmitted securely to our analysis engine. Before any analysis is performed, the document is processed to remove or anonymise personally identifiable information — meaning the data that passes through our system cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
The analysis engine extracts the financial structure of the document — balances, APR, utilisation, payment history signals — and returns a structured analysis. The statement text and all extracted data are then immediately and permanently deleted.
We do not store your statement. We do not store the extracted text. We do not keep any record of your balance, APR, interest charges, or transaction history. None of this data is retained in our database.
